How we can help

Who We Are

At the Southern California Addiction Center, we pride ourselves on a unique mixture of compassion with proven treatments for people in need. Integrity and respect are just as important to our therapeutic process as anything you will find in a journal of psychology. First and foremost, we seek to facilitate recovery by providing the stable, loving environment that has been denied to so many addicts. We think of ourselves as rescuers. Once rescued from the injustices of the world, our clients can finally focus their efforts on significant self-transformation, guided by our caring team of licensed behavioral professionals. In our care, long-term recovery is finally possible for addicts who need only the chance to affect positive life changes. We refer to clients who complete our program as transformations. As we see it, it requires a transformed person to move beyond an addiction. Our therapies draw from many years of established behavioral science, and we proudly empower clients in the Southern California area. We aim to change the world one transformed individual at a time.

OUR LOCATIONS

Our Programs and Treatments

Drug & Alcohol Detox

Before positive life transformations can take place, an addict’s body must undergo detoxification to help break physical addiction. This is the natural exit of the addictive substance from the body, and it can take days of time or possibly weeks. The detox process is a different process for each individual, making this a challenging and somewhat unpredictable step to navigate. We aim to afford our clients as much safety and comfort as possible during this trying time.

Substance Abuse

We specialize in addiction recovery, providing treatments for a broad range of substance dependency issues. All of the patients at our facility are entered into unique programs customized to the precise nature of their needs, always with care and compassion at the foundation of our recovery process. We offer both inpatient, and outpatient substance abuse rehabilitation programs. We feature an eprt staff here to cater to the recovery needs of you or your loved one.

Holistic Treatment

At SCAC, we provide holistic diagnoses of our clients to address the problem from as many angles as we can. Medication may be necessary, but in order to eliminate the problem of side effects, we like to examine factors like fitness, nutrition, spirituality, and other items worthy of consideration. This way, we do not place all a client’s “eggs” in one basket but provide many interlocking changes that function together to improve quality of life and prevent relapse.

Chronic Relapse

Even clients who graduate from our programs can suffer relapses when placed under intense stress. In fact, years of sobriety can separate detoxification and unfortunate relapses. For some individuals, this is a long-term battle sourced in the sheer length of the period spent using. Unfortunately, there may be a return to the addicts old ways and the past usage. Every addict is different, and our specialized counseling team works to create individualized plans for long-term sobriety.

Behavioral Health

This portion of our treatments focuses on problematic patterns of behavior, employing a combination of therapy and well-supported clinical medications. Drugs and alcohol can often become tangled up in behavioral issues, due to self-medicating efforts and the desire for relief. However, pathological behaviors are always best addressed without the use of popular “feel-good” drugs like alcohol and marijuana.

Residential/Outpatient

At the Southern California Addiction Center, we understand that there is no single, ideal plan for treatment. Whether clients are in need of a home environment free of distractions or committed to external responsibilities outside the facility, our programs cater to the unique needs of every individual. Remain on-site for a peaceful process of change, or use our facility as the sober home to which you can return once your outside responsibilities have been fulfilled.
