At the Southern California Addiction Center, our highly trained staff are the heart and soul of our acclaimed recovery programs. These licensed behavioral specialists run the gamut of experience in mental health and wellness–some of them are actually recovered addicts themselves!
Our compassionate staff is dedicated to the custom recovery of each “rescue” who comes to our doors. To that end, they develop programs and plans to treat not just addiction and substance abuse, but a wealth of other life factors, including relationships, nutrition, lifestyle, and more. The lifelong skill sets our clients need will be handed down by these therapists, who have the drive and knowledge to renew clients’ bodies and minds through honest care.
Before joining our innovative team of care professionals, prospective employees must complete their own series of intensive training programs. The result is a therapeutic staff of which we are proud; caring humanitarians with empathetic dispositions, creative counseling skills, and the formal educations required of all mental health workers.
By establishing personal relationships with SCAC’s clientele, our staff finds meaning in their work, developing important human connections that facilitate the healing process. We like to call them “Creative Living Consultants,” guides to promising new lives defined not by guilt or addiction, but freedom and hope.
